TECHBITS SYSTEMS is seeking an experienced Sr. SQA Engineer who can take ownership of testing processes, ensure product quality at scale, and mentor junior QA team members. This role requires strong expertise in manual and automation testing, a deep understanding of software development lifecycles, and the ability to drive quality across multiple projects.
Job Responsibilities
Design, review, and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing
Lead manual and automation testing efforts
Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using issue-tracking tools
Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders
Review requirements and provide early QA feedback to prevent defects
Mentor and guide junior and mid-level SQA engineers
Ensure quality standards are met before production releases
Continuously improve QA processes and testing efficiency
Required Skills & Qualifications
4–7 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance
Strong knowledge of Manual Testing & Automation Testing
Solid understanding of SDLC & STLC
Experience with test planning, test case design, and defect management
Hands-on experience with automation frameworks
Knowledge of API testing and backend validation
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and release cycles
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
- API testing tools like Postman
- Bug tracking tools: Jira, Azure DevOps, ClickUp, or similar
- Version control systems (Git-based workflows)
- Exposure to performance or security testing is a plus
